    6 months contract role in Morristown, NJ | Onsite 4 days a week (1 day remote)

    The role will be instrumental in enhancing the Human Resources service delivery by focusing on benefits analysis and managing employee leave programs. This position will act as an internal consultant, analyzing and recommending solutions to human resources issues related to benefits and leave management.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Analyze and recommend solutions to human resources issues, with a focus on benefits and leave management.
    • Perform analysis and research related to benefits and employment processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing, audits, and compliance with state and federal requirements.
    • Manage employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, parental leave, military leave, and state-specific leave requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR partners, and third-party administrators throughout the leave process.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and company policies while maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
    • Monitor leave cases from initiation through closure, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and case management.
    • Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and disability vendors to ensure accurate leave pay administration and benefits continuation.
    • Conduct periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Experience working with automated multi-state employment processing, specifically in payroll and benefits.
    • Strong verbal and written client services skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional teams.

    Education and Experience

    • Required: High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of experience related to Human Resources, specifically in employment, benefits, and/or payroll.
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources, or equivalent education and experience.
