Job Summary The HRBP Specialist partners with the Human Resources Business Partner to provide daily support and direction pertaining to human resources initiatives. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws as well as ethical business practices. Interfaces with specialized HR functions to deliver quality HR services according to departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Provides HRBP support to ensure the senior leadership of the business is aligned and contributing to an effective HR and talent strategy. The HR strategy should be aligned to Papa Johns overall business aims.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages HR Business Partner relationships with assigned client groups and supports various HR initiatives.
  • Directs benefit and compensation questions to the appropriate area, answers general questions, acts as support and follow-up during open enrollment.
  • Works with managers on Leave/Accommodation requests.
  • In conjunction with HRBP Managers and Directors, works with the hiring manager to facilitate hiring and onboarding process.
  • May participate in recruiting strategy meetings and interviews.
  • Consults with and advises on employee relations issues, including completing thorough investigations when needed.
  • Assists with the collection and documentation process.
  • Looks for ways to constantly improve by recommending new approaches and practices to improve efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Fosters and supports a culture of Reward and Recognition.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
