    Position Title: HR Administrative Assistant
    Position Type: Temp to Hire (06+ Months)
    Work Location: Mansfield, TX 76063

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    This position is responsible for performing routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate team members
    Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs while adhering to necessary security policies concerning facility access
    Coordinate visitor and meeting logistics, including welcoming guest, notifying hosts, reserving meeting spaces, and supporting meeting needs.
    Create, maintain, and enter information into databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    Order and dispense supplies according to expense policy requirements
    Coordinate ordering of working lunches, celebration meals, birthday treats, engagement activity food, and related decorations or supplies within budget and policy guidelines.
    Prepare learning, communication, engagement or event materials, such as flyers or invitations
    Support payroll functions, such as maintaining timekeeping information, resetting Kronos passwords, and exporting time information to staffing agencies.
    Arrange conference, meeting, and training for team members as needed.
    Coordinate and facilitate professional development and learning opportunities for plant staff and the Division as needed
    Participate in new hire recruitment and onboarding to include badge creation and other duties as needed
    Track new hire follow-up activities, including 30, 60, 90-day check-ins, and communicate outstanding items to appropriate team members.
    Electronically file necessary training and personnel documents related to employment

    DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.
    Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High-Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.
    Other duties may be assigned.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    Education required:
    High School Diploma or GED.

    Experience:
    Previous experience in Human Resources and processing payroll for a large population preferred
    Manufacturing exposure preferred but not required

    Basic knowledge and use of hand tools

    Good math, reading, and writing skills
    Demonstrated aptitude with office equipment
    Strong trouble shooting skills

    Ability to work well in a team environment

    Skills/Competencies:
    Advanced computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to work well in a team environment

    Assessment:
    Employees must pass pre-employment screening

    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
    Report directly to Plant Manager

    WORKING CONDITIONS:
    Office and manufacturing setting with frequent use of computers and office equipment.

    The employee may be subject to:
    High noise levels from operating machines and equipment.
    Work in areas where safety equipment is required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection)
    Sitting is required for extended periods of time. Walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting is performed on a regular basis
