Partners for HOME is seeking a Housing Intern to support the Housing team in managing administrative and data projects, including auditing, compliance and enrollments. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mezzo level Social Work, administrative duties, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. This is a part-time internship offering valuable experience and exposure to nonprofit social work practices such as organization work, policy and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in data entry
Audit current records for compliance
Reconcile Haven voucher holders in HMIS
Update HMIS enrollments for Haven voucher program
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Currently pursuing a Master degree in Social Work
Strong interest in nonprofit mezzo level Social Work
Basic understanding administrative reporting and data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smart Sheets
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or volunteer experience in Social Work
Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and practices (preferred but not required)
