    Responsible for providing friendly, courteous service to guests every time while cleaning in their assigned area. Housepersons are required to complete 4 touches with each Attendant each day and maintain an inspection score of 90% or better. Also, must display a strong commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of our Service Standards, Safety & Accident Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.

    • Ability to communicate in English clearly and effectively. Must possess good listening and organizational skills.

    • Dexterity needed to operate the tools and utensils required for the completion of assigned tasks.

    • Ability to perform stooping, crouching, twisting and reaching motions repeatedly.
    • Ability to push and/or pull approximately 300 - 400 pounds on wheels.
    • Ability to lift and carry approximately 110 - 120 pounds.
    • Possess well-developed interpersonal skills.
    • Receive instructions and hear inquiries from guests, clients, or staff.
    • Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of shift and remain calm during emergency situations.
    • Ability to bend, stoop or kneel; climb, ascend and descend stairs; maintain equilibrium.
    • Repetitive bending and lifting.
    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects.
    • Ability to reach for specific objects at short distances in local working areas.
    • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
    • Cleans, polishes, dusts and buffs furniture and furnishings.
    • Vacuum all carpets and fabric surfaces according to cleaning schedules (furniture and draperies)
    • Mop all non-carpeted floors in assigned area when assigned to floor care.
    • Clean all low areas as needed (i.e., wall sockets, pictures, door stoppers, exposed plumbing, base boards and window sills) when assigned to guest rooms and halls.
    • Clean all high areas (i.e., ceiling items excluding smoke detectors) when assigned to guest rooms and halls.
    • Clean (and polish when applicable) all brass and chrome when assigned to areas containing such fixtures.
    • Remove marks from furniture and wallpaper in assigned area as needed.
    • Clean windows, mirrors, glass table tops.
    • Removes all trash and & linen from floors.
    • Remove all trash and & linen from the rooms requested by supervisor.
    • Routinely inspect work areas for cleaning needs, safety hazards, problems or repair needs.
    • Deliver/Remove linen from floors.
    • Obtain necessary cleaning supplies from supply room.
    • Stock and sort linens prior to stocking lockers when necessary.
    • Deliver items requested by guests in a timely manner.
    • Maintain work areas, storage rooms, and stairwell in a clean and safe manner.
    • Pan sweep floors in assigned area.
    • Reports all needed repairs within their assigned area to Housekeeping.
    • Clean Bio Hazards using Personal Protective Equipment.
    • Guard against theft of privileged information.
    • Secure and return key/radio/phone at end of shift.
    • Turn in all Lost and Found items to security in a timely manner.
    • Perform all job duties safely using personal protective equipment.
    • Comply with all department policies/procedures and service guarantees.
    • Attend all training classes as requested.
    • Attend and participate in pre-shift department meetings.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
