    Description

    Job description

A busy entrepreneurial family in Las Vegas is looking for a warm, energetic, and highly organized Home Manager / Family Assistant to support their household Monday through Friday, approximately 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (with extended hours until approximately 9:00 PM on most Fridays for weekly family hosting).

This is not a nanny role. The focus is household operations daily resets, laundry, light food prep, infant area care, vendor coordination, and Friday hosting support. The right candidate is warm around babies, proactive, and arrives ready to work without needing direction.

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week with growth potential.

    Job requirements

This household has serious medical allergies and sensitivities. The following are absolute requirements:

No fragrances of any kind no perfume, scented lotion, scented deodorant, hairspray, or fragranced fabric softener.

    Non-smokers only

No pet hair on clothing (allergies)

    What You'll Do

    Daily Home Reset (Every Visit)

    • Bring in packages from the front door, unbox and clear packaging

    • Sweep and mop tile floors; vacuum carpeted areas

    • Clear and wipe kitchen counters; load/unload dishwasher

    • Reset all common areas — return items to their designated spots

    • Ensure no small objects on the floor (crawling/walking baby in the home)

    • Refresh water and glasses on the dining table

    Infant Area Prep

    • Before the infant returns from daycare (~3:30 PM): sanitize toys and teethers, vacuum high chair and car seat, prep play areas

    • Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the home

    Laundry

    • Full laundry cycle every visit: wash, dry, fold, carry between floors, and put away

    • Organize clothing in drawers and closets

    • Occasional hand-washing of delicates left at the laundry sink

    • No dryer sheets or scented products

    Light Food & Drink Prep

    • On arrival: make a smoothie batch and place in the fridge; set out water and glasses

    • Pull proteins from the freezer to defrost for dinner

    • Chop and prep vegetables as noted on the household whiteboard

    • This is ingredient prep — not cooking meals

    Vendor Coordination

    • Greet and manage vendor visits (handyman, gardener, pool company) during your shift

    • Keep the handyman on task during his weekly Friday visit

    • Follow up if a vendor doesn't show; update the whiteboard and text the principals

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Carpet cleaning using household equipment (weekly, split by floor)

    • Trash and recycling: empty bins daily; bring to curb on Thursdays; return on Fridays

    • Collect and sort mail twice a week

    • Monitor household supplies and food staples; maintain a shared grocery note

    • Assist with picking up grocery pickup orders when needed

    • Occasional outdoor area reset (pool towels, floats, toys)

    • Light shoe wipe-down when shoes are left out needing cleaning

Friday Hosting Support (Most Fridays, until ~9 PM)

    • Charcuterie or vegetable prep for guests

    • Set dining table with nice plates and candles

    • Ensure home is reset and presentable before guests arrive

    • Load dishwasher and do a final kitchen reset after dinner
