    Hospice - Full Time - Office Manager 
    Location: Amarillo, TX

    Position Overview:
    This position is necessary to provide administrative and operational oversight for the hospice office, ensuring efficient daily operations, accurate documentation, effective communication, and timely support for clinical and administrative staff. The Hospice Office Manager will assist with employee-related administrative functions, onboarding, staffing coordination, documentation, and compliance activities. Previous experience in Human Resources or HR-related functions is preferred, as the position will work closely with employees and leadership on personnel matters, onboarding, employee records, and other HR-related responsibilities. The Office Manager will help maintain regulatory and organizational compliance while allowing the clinical team to remain focused on providing quality patient care.
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee daily hospice office operations and administrative workflows.
    • Coordinate communication between clinical staff, leadership, patients, families, and referral sources.
    • Maintain accurate employee, patient, and administrative records.
    • Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and onboarding activities.
    • Monitor office supplies, equipment, and operational needs.
    • Assist with documentation, audits, and compliance-related activities.
    • Support billing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and other administrative functions as assigned.
    • Coordinate meetings, correspondence, and internal communications.
    • Identify operational issues and work with leadership to resolve them.
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.
    • Ensure office processes are consistent with company policies and applicable hospice regulations.
    • Provide administrative support to the Administrator and interdisciplinary hospice team.
