POSITION: Hockey Goalie Coach
REPORTS TO: Hockey Coordinator
EMPLOYEE TYPE: PT/Non-Exempt
Morgan Park Sports Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Hockey Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hockey, a positive coaching style, and a commitment to developing players at all levels-from youth beginners to advanced competitive players.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead on-ice practices sessions for the intro to hockey program.
Develop and implement development plans for players across various age groups.
Collaborate with team coaches to provide in-game and practice support.
Support development during team practices, skills sessions, and clinics.
Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and inclusive environment on and off the ice.
Communicate with parents on progression, and scheduling.
Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a hockey player or coach.
Strong understanding of fundamentals, techniques, and current training trends.
USA Hockey coaching certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff.
Must pass a background check and adhere to all SafeSport guidelines.

Hours: This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Able to work specifically on Sundays.
HOURLY RATE: $18.50
