Histology Lab Manager

Histology Lab Manager needs 2 years experience

Histology Lab Manager requires:

* Bachelor's Degree in Science

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in histology

* Professional laboratory experience in Biology, Molecular Biology, and/or Neuroscience background

* Post college lab experience in histology and molecular biology

* Scientific Support including but not limited to QPCR, PCR, ELISA, Western Blot, cell culture, aseptic technique, assay screening, general prep, liquid handling equipment, plate readers, etc

* Tissue sectioning and sample preparation

* Use of laboratory equipment including but not limited to Plate Sealers/Desealers, Incubators, pipettors, centrifuges, incubators, biological safety cabinets, balances, etc.

* Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot and document.

* Organized, ability to multi-task, analytical skills, professionalism, communication skills, attention to detail, aseptic technique.

* Software includes software specific to instrument(s) for capturing and analyzing data, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint, etc.), LIMS, electronic laboratory notebooks, etc.

Histology Lab Manager duties:

* Will be managing day to day operations in the lab and manage shipments in and out. Receive material, ship material

* Keep inventory.
