This position is a dual contract position that involves teaching PE and or Health AND coaching one or more UIL sport based on campus needs. The Teacher Health PE Coach will plan and implement an instructional program and provide related educational services for students in assigned grade levels.
Teachers will follow the FBISD Scope and Sequence and use the provided curriculum and resources for the subject taught. PE curriculum includes outdoor activities. The incumbent will manage student behavior, assess and evaluate student achievement, and modify instructional activities as required. Carry out a variety of student monitoring and controls activities.
Any teacher who coaches a UIL sport will also provide athletic services related to that athletic sport and the athletic program.
