Healthcare Billing Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office
Compensation: $160K–$170K DOE

About the Role

A growing healthcare medical supply company is seeking an experienced Healthcare Billing Manager to lead and oversee its billing department. This role will manage a team of 10–15 billers while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all billing operations.

The ideal candidate has strong healthcare billing knowledge, understands coding and reimbursement processes, and can improve workflows while leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the billing department.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of 10–15 billing professionals.
• Review billing processes, claims, denials, and reimbursement performance.
• Ensure accurate coding, documentation, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve collections and reduce billing issues.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve account and billing challenges.
• Implement processes to improve efficiency and department performance.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of healthcare billing experience.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement.
• Experience managing billing teams required.
• Knowledge of  healthcare supply billing preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
