Harm Reduction Data Analytics Coordinator - (OEM)

Hourly Pay Range: $33.50 - $50.88

Job Summary: The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is seeking a highly motivated and growth-oriented individual who is passionate about applying a data lens to community harm reduction efforts. The Harm Reduction Data Analytics Coordinator will leverage large datasets to inform the County and EMS systems and translate data into action. The primary work includes cleansing, manipulation, analyzing, visualizing and communicating data utilizing multiple tools and modern technology. Specific expertise is needed in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Power BI, and machine learning to increase data quality.

External contact to gather information, answer queries, or provide assistance regarding the process. Read and write routine reports, correspondences, and speak effectively before both internal and external groups. Read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Understand and follow instructions, analysis/reasoning, communication/interpretation, math/mental computation, problem solving, and composing reports. Regular decision making of responsibility, involving evaluation of information.
