Position: Hardware EngineerPay: $85k-$95k(1st shift or 2nd shift)Hiring manager requires 1-2 years of prior experience conducting hardware troubleshooting, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) reworking, signal waveform analysis, and debugging using oscilloscopes and multimeters.Direct manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.Purpose of Position:The Hardware Engineer oversees the hardware testing and debug environment setup,assists with identifying related hardware engineering issues, and communicates withHQ team and vendors to ensure product is delivered on time.Duties/Responsibilities:- Assist the engineers to solve engineering issues in a timely manner.- Set up hardware testing and debug environment.- Collaborate with the Research and Development team to find out the root cause.- Support the manufacturing debug team with troubleshooting tasks.- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing,and customers.- Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test.- Operate the oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter.- Solder wire and rework PCB board.Required Skills/Abilities:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.- Excellent organizational skills and diligence.- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.- High emotional intelligence skills.- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talentmanagement systems.Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree, master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent- Knowledge of PC hardware architecture- Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.- Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.- Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.- Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable.Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.- Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization'sfacilities.- Requirements are subject to change, if necessary, to comply with departmentneedsQuanta Nashville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
