Full Time/Benefits
Base Salary: $25,000, with an eligibility to earn commission.
Salary with Commission: $45,000 to $65,000, depending on commission earned.
Job Summary: The Group Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating and growing group ticket revenue for Playhouse Square. This role focuses on developing and strengthening relationships across targeted markets, managing a portfolio of group and Corporate Exclusive Online (CEO) clients, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales and event experience. The position supports organizational sales goals through proactive outreach, client cultivation, event coordination, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless and positive guest experience.

General Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities: Group Sales & Client Development
Generates new business and prospects new groups and CEO leads through outbound calls, emails, meetings, networking, and presentations to meet or exceed individual and departmental revenue goals.
Identifies, develops and maintains strong relationships within assigned markets to increase group ticket sales.
Maintains an annual retention rates of accounts established by Senior Group Sales Manager.
Customer Relationship Management
Builds and manages a growing client base, including traditional group buyers and CEO program participants.
Provides exceptional service, timely follow-up, and tailored recommendations to support clients' needs and maximize sales results.
Sales Administration & Ticketing
Utilizes Playhouse Square's ticket system to create accounts and reservations, adjust and process orders, exchange tickets, coordinate the collection of individual payments for group orders ahead of payment deadlines, and manage cancelations in order to achieve ticket and revenue goals.
Maintains comprehensive sales records and pipeline tracking through the CRM system.
Event Coordination & On-Site Support
Creates, coordinates, and facilitates special group events designed to increase revenue and enhance guest experience.
Greets and assists group arrivals for Playhouse Square events as needed.
Represents Playhouse Square at external events, meetings, and community engagements to promote group and CEO ticket sales.
Cross Department Collaboration
Partners with the Special Projects Team to develop promotional materials as needed.
Meets regularly with the Senior Group Sales Manager to review progress, discuss, adjust and implement as needed to achieve and exceed.
General Responsibilities

Required Skills/Attributes:
Proven in person or phone experience with a strong track record of meeting revenue goals.
Strong computer skills and previous ticketing and CRM system experience is a plus.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Outgoing, personable, and able to build strong client relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment with a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Arts Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Experience in sales, customer service, or client relationship management preferred.
Familiarity with CRM/database systems strongly preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends for events.
