Government & National Accounts Manager

Contract Administration. Account Management. Sales Support.

Hi-Line is expanding its Government & National Accounts team and looking for an experienced professional to support the Director of National Accounts in managing our government contract portfolio and national account programs. This role is best suited for someone who has worked in government procurement, national accounts, or outside sales and is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day execution of a growing program.

What Youll Support and Manage

Government Contracts

  • Maintain and administer Hi-Lines active government and cooperative purchasing contracts - GSA, TXMAS, OMNIA, and other co-op vehicles - through compliance, renewals, and modifications
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports; track administrative fees and rebate obligations
  • Audit orders against contract pricing and eligibility; coordinate discrepancy resolution with accounting
  • Monitor RFP and bid platforms; prepare and manage bid submissions and tracking

National Accounts

  • Support the Director in managing national account customers - onboarding, documentation, and ongoing account needs
  • Maintain contract libraries and selling tools for the field sales team
  • Coordinate national account meetings, customer visits, and industry events
  • Partner with Territory Managers nationwide to support contract utilization and account growth

Sales Support

  • Conduct follow-up calls with prospects and national account contacts on behalf of the Director
  • Identify and flag new government and cooperative purchasing opportunities
  • Assist with proposals and customer presentations

What Were Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in government contract administration, national account management, outside sales, or procurement
  • Working knowledge of government contracts, GSA schedules, cooperative purchasing programs, RFPs, or bids strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting or working alongside an outside sales team, or direct outside sales experience
  • Advanced Excel proficiency - pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, formula-based reporting
  • Strong communication skills - youll interact with procurement officers, contract administrators, and senior contacts at national accounts
  • Ability to independently manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and priorities
  • Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience in government contracting or industrial sales considered
