    Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation Associate Attorney

    Direct Counsel is seeking a Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in Charlotte, NC.

    This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 2-5 years of government investigations experience to join a nationally recognized white collar litigation practice. The successful candidate will represent corporate and individual clients in high-stakes civil, criminal, and regulatory investigations and enforcement matters at the federal and state levels.

    Responsibilities
    • Represent clients in government investigations, white collar criminal matters, and regulatory enforcement proceedings.

    • Assist with internal investigations, government inquiries, and compliance matters.

    • Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation and investigative materials.

    • Conduct witness interviews, factual investigations, and legal research.

    • Advise clients on enforcement risks, regulatory compliance, and litigation strategy.

    • Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex, high-profile matters involving federal and state agencies.

    • Work directly with clients on sensitive and strategically significant investigations.

    Qualifications
    • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

    • Active membership in a U.S. state bar.

    • 2-5 years of government investigations and white collar litigation experience.

    • Experience at a top-tier law firm is required.

    • Judicial clerkship experience is highly preferred.

    • Experience at an Am Law firm or a nationally recognized white collar practice is strongly preferred.

    • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

    • Interest in leveraging legal technology and AI tools to enhance legal research and document drafting.
