Gift Shop Sales Associate

Carlisle Gifts is looking for friendly, dependable team members who enjoy helping guests and creating a welcoming shopping experience. As a Gift Shop Sales Associate, you’ll assist guests with merchandise selection, operate the cash register, maintain attractive displays, and help keep the store clean, organized, and well stocked.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to every guest.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Assist guests with product selection and answer questions about merchandise.
• Stock, price, organize, and merchandise products.
• Maintain clean, attractive, and organized displays and sales areas.
• Receive and organize merchandise shipments as needed.
• Assist with promotions, seasonal displays, and special events.
• Follow cash-handling, safety, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively with team members to provide an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, cashier, customer service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
