Beasley Media Group is seeking a dynamic, driven, and results-oriented General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead our Fayetteville, North Carolina sales organization. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategic revenue initiatives across our radio and digital platforms while coaching and inspiring a team of account executives to exceed revenue goals.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with a track record of growing market share, developing high-performing sales talent, building strong client relationships, and driving integrated marketing solutions that deliver meaningful business results for advertisers. This position requires a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and embraces innovation across broadcast, digital, events, and emerging marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Strategic Leadership

• Lead all local and national sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue objectives.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across broadcast, digital, sponsorship, event, and non-traditional revenue streams.
• Identify new business opportunities and market expansion strategies.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to maximize revenue performance.
• Collaborate with market leadership to develop annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and sales plans.

Team Development & Performance Management

• Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor a team of multimedia Account Executives.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, ride-alongs, and client-facing sales calls.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Establish clear performance expectations and sales activity standards.
• Create career development opportunities that support team growth and retention.

Client & Agency Relationships

• Build and maintain relationships with key local advertisers, agency partners, and community leaders.
• Participate in high-level sales presentations and strategic client meetings.
• Develop customized integrated marketing solutions that leverage Beasley Media Group''s full suite of assets.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business goals and delivering measurable results.

Digital & Integrated Solutions Leadership

• Champion Beasley''s digital product portfolio, including:

• Display advertising

• Programmatic solutions

• Social media marketing

• Search engine marketing

• Streaming audio

• Video solutions

• Targeted audience marketing

• Sponsorship and experiential opportunities

• Drive digital-first thinking while maximizing the value of traditional broadcast assets.

• Ensure the sales team effectively presents integrated campaigns and ROI-focused solutions.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
• Analyze sales performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budget controls, and reporting requirements.
• Partner closely with programming, promotions, digital, and business operations teams to deliver outstanding client experiences.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of successful media sales management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading broadcast, digital, or multimedia sales teams.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and integrated marketing solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and market share gains.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial management abilities.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Radio broadcasting industry experience.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Knowledge of the Fayetteville market and regional business community.
• Experience leading high-performing multimedia sales organizations.
