Fedora, an upscale cocktail lounge and live music venue inside the Aztec Theatre on the San Antonio River Walk, is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations and maintain an exceptional standard of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise the full service team
- Lead polished guest service as a visible host and manager
- Oversee opening, operating, and closing procedures
- Manage labor, beverage costs, purchasing, inventory, cash controls, and operating expenses
- Coordinate live entertainment, private events, and special programming
- Maintain TABC, health, safety, and employment compliance
- Partner with ownership on sales, promotions, profitability, reservations, and event sales
- Provide accurate weekly sales, labor, inventory, and performance reports
Qualifications
- At least three years of General Manager experience in a high-volume bar, full-service restaurant, hotel lounge, or entertainment venue
- Strong cocktail, spirits, wine, and upscale service knowledge
- Proven team leadership and working knowledge of POS, scheduling, Excel, inventory controls, labor percentages, and P&L statements
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $60,000 annual base salary
- Up to 25% bonus opportunity
