Tamalpie is a well-established, independently owned neighborhood restaurant in Mill Valley, serving our community for over 14 years. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager who can take ownership of daily operations, lead our team, and help us build a more efficient, profitable, and enjoyable workplace.

We need a true house leader someone who leads by example, takes initiative, solves problems, and treats the business as if it were their own.

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
  

• Hire, train, motivate, and retain a strong, reliable team.
  

• Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor costs.
  

• Maintain excellent hospitality, service, and guest satisfaction.
  

• Work closely with our chef to ensure smooth operations.
  

• Develop systems that simplify operations and improve efficiency.

• Oversee restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation.
  

• Grow catering, private events, and community relationships.
