A leading healthcare laboratory in the Indianapolis, Indiana area is looking for a General Laboratory Supervisor to join its team! Oversee testing in multiple departments, including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, or Microbiology.

A leading healthcare laboratory in the Indianapolis, Indiana area is looking for a General Laboratory Supervisor to join its team!

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position

• 40 hours per week

• Evening/night shift

• Start times between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM, depending on department needs

• Leadership opportunity within a large, integrated laboratory network

• Oversight of multiple laboratory departments

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and technical staff

• Oversee testing in multiple departments, including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, or Microbiology

• Troubleshoot laboratory instruments and testing issues

• Maintain quality control, regulatory compliance, and proficiency testing standards

• Evaluate staff competency and support process improvements

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science required

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist program, or meets ASCP alternative eligibility requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-complexity laboratory required

• Experience with Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, or Microbiology testing

• Strong technical knowledge and laboratory troubleshooting skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
