The General Education Classroom Aide provides school-based educational or related services . This role collaborates with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom activities.
- Support students individually and in groups.
- Prepare instructional materials.
- Supervise students during classroom activities.
- Assist with classroom organization.
- Maintain records as assigned.
- Promote a positive learning environment.
- Support student safety.
- Collaborate with school staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
High school diploma/GED; paraprofessional experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- School experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations.
