Job Title: Deputy Program Manager FUSION Program

Security Clearance: (TS/SCI)

Location: National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) Charlottesville VA

Position Overview

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support day‑to‑day execution of the FUSION program at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). This key‑personnel role provides direct oversight of CONUS/OCONUS operations, training, administrative functions, and mission support. The Deputy PM is authorized to act on behalf of the contractor within assigned areas and during the Program Manager's absence, while helping integrate AI‑enabled tools and advanced analytics into operational workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in executing all task‑order requirements.
  • Provide daily oversight of operational, administrative, training, and workforce activities.
  • Coordinate CONUS and OCONUS operations, staffing, deployments, and mission support.
  • Serve as acting Program Manager when required to maintain continuity of leadership.
  • Support responsible integration of AI‑enabled tools, automation, and data‑driven processes.

Key Duties

  • Manage daily program operations and synchronize priorities across mission and functional teams.
  • Track staffing actions, vacancies, onboarding, rotations, training, and readiness.
  • Prepare and review status reports, staffing updates, risk assessments, metrics, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Government mission leads, branch chiefs, COR, and contractor team leads.
  • Monitor schedule and performance issues; recommend corrective actions to the Program Manager.
  • Support transition‑in/transition‑out activities to ensure uninterrupted mission support.
  • Identify secure applications of AI, generative AI, and automation for operational workflows.
  • Ensure AI‑enabled processes comply with all security, classification, and policy requirements.
  • Adjust work hours as needed to support mission requirements and remain responsive outside core hours.

Basic Qualifications

  • Current TS/SCI at time of hire.
  • Ability to work full‑time on‑site at NGIC (Charlottesville, VA) starting Day 1.
  • Ability to meet all security, intelligence oversight, and information‑handling requirements.
  • Master's degree in business, program management, intelligence, national security, or related field (Bachelor's with additional experience considered).
  • 12+ years supporting DoD, IC, or national‑security missions.
  • 5+ years leading intelligence, operations, program management, or mission‑support teams.
  • Experience managing daily operations for large, multidisciplinary, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience supporting staffing, training, deployment, risk, schedule, and performance management.
  • Strong working knowledge or training in AI‑enabled analytics, generative AI, or digital modernization in classified environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience supporting NGIC, INSCOM, DIA, Army G‑2, or similar Defense Intelligence Enterprise organizations.
  • Experience supporting SIA 3 or comparable intelligence‑analysis task orders.
  • Experience managing CONUS/OCONUS operations or deployed personnel.
  • Background in intelligence production, identity intelligence, S&TI, data science, or analytic‑enabling functions.
  • Experience implementing secure AI‑enabled workflow improvements or human‑machine teaming.
  • Agile or related program‑management certification.
  • Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (IFPC).

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires full‑time, on‑site support at NGIC. Off‑site work is subject to Government approval.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $139,100.00 - $251,450.00
