    We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our general dentistry team. The ideal candidate must hold current DANB certification and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role supports the dentist in providing comprehensive dental treatment while ensuring patient comfort and clinical efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Chairside assisting for general dentistry procedures including restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, endodontics, and preventive services
    • Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
    • Take and process dental radiographs
    • Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
    • Assist with impressions, temporaries, and digital scanning
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Provide post-operative instructions to patients
    • Manage inventory and maintain organized clinical areas
    • Support smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Current DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) Certification- Required
    • Current Pennsylvania radiology certification- Required
    • Current CPR/BLS certification- Required
    • Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
    • Familiarity with dental practice management software
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider needs
    • Positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient care
