Full Stack Engineer

Were seeking a Staff Engineer to help drive technical excellence and innovation across our platform, with a focus on leveraging AI to transform how global talent connects with opportunities. Youll tackle complex technical challenges spanning our entire platform, including AI-powered matching algorithms and scalable marketplace infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy for core platform initiatives.
• Design and implement foundational system capabilities for our AI-driven talent matching.
• Lead evolution of systems for rapid scaling and enhanced AI features.
• Mentor engineers and elevate technical standards.
• Collaborate with product teams and data scientists to translate goals into technical solutions.
• Build robust, scalable systems for marketplace dynamics and talent evaluation.
• Guide technical decisions across multiple teams and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must have heavy Python and Ruby on Rails experience.
• 3+ years technical leadership driving complex projects.
• Deep background in distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Experience building/scaling marketplaces or complex platforms.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
• Strong AI/ML knowledge and application experience.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• US-based (team is globally distributed, but role is US-centered).
• Experience with talent matching algorithms or recommendation engines.
• Large-scale data processing and analytics experience.
• Familiarity with compliance/privacy for global platforms.
• Experience publishing technical content or speaking at conferences.
• Proven record working in distributed, remote teams.
