Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the design and development of enterprise applications integrating modern front-end technologies, Python services, Databricks, Azure, and AI/GenAI capabilities. This is a hybrid contract opportunity requiring three days per week in either the New York or Princeton office, with some travel between locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Python-based services, APIs, application components, and production integrations.
• Build and maintain responsive front-end application components and user interfaces.
• Integrate front-end applications with AI services, backend APIs, Databricks, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and support end-to-end full-stack applications within cloud-based environments.
• Build applications leveraging the Databricks ecosystem, including Databricks Apps, Genie, Mosaic AI, and GenAI application development patterns.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and AI/GenAI platforms.
• Implement secure authentication, application monitoring, logging, and production deployment practices.
• Establish and support CI/CD pipelines, release management processes, and DevOps practices for enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues across front-end, backend, cloud, and data environments.

Required Skills

• Strong development experience with Python, including APIs and backend services.
• Experience developing modern, responsive front-end applications.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and its AI ecosystem.
• Experience with Databricks Apps, Genie, Mosaic AI, or related Databricks AI capabilities.
• Experience integrating applications with Azure services and AI/GenAI platforms.
• Understanding of authentication, application security, monitoring, and production deployment best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and enterprise release-management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing AI-enabled or GenAI-powered enterprise applications.
• Exposure to RAG, conversational AI, intelligent search, or other enterprise AI application patterns.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to work effectively across application development, data, cloud, and AI teams.

Required Experience

• 3 4 years of hands-on full-stack application development experience.
