Description

In the Full Cycle Sales Representative role, you own the entire commercial process from start to finish. That means identifying clinicians worth talking to, earning the first conversation, delivering a compelling pitch, addressing compliance concerns and skepticism, closing the deal, and ultimately getting clinicians live and actively producing on the platform.

Success in this role goes beyond signed agreements. A clinician who signs but never shares their Link with patients generates no value, and month-to-month contracts make retention just as important as acquisition. As a result, your performance is measured not by logo count, but by clinicians who activate, engage, and remain productive over time.

What Certuma Link does

Patient messaging has turned into a second shift for clinicians: important, time-consuming, and largely unpaid. Certuma Link gives a clinician a personal AI clinician that listens first in their voice, gathers symptoms, history, and red flags, drafts a reply, and brings the clinician in only when their judgment is needed. Nothing reaches a patient until the clinician approves it. The clinician is the licensed decision-maker at every step.

The commercial model is what makes clinicians pay attention. Every reply the clinician sends is billable, including the ones where the AI did all the gathering and drafting and the clinician simply approved. The clinician sets the price for each tier: AI-assisted consults at an accessible price, clinician reviews higher, live chats highest. Patients pay up front. Payouts run weekly through Stripe Connect. Subscriptions start at $25 per month for up to 100 patients and $50 per month above that, with custom pricing for multi-clinician groups.

Setup is deliberately fast, the plans are month to month, and a clinician can cancel from their settings. That shapes the job: signing is the easy part, and the work sits in getting a clinician genuinely using their Link and keeping them there.

Certuma Link is in private preview. You will sell an early product to a market that has been promised a lot by health tech and burned more than once.

What you will own

Pipeline generation

  • Define and refine target clinician segments in partnership with the agentic tooling, then pressure-test whether the ranking matches what you see in live conversations.
  • Run multi-channel outbound: email, phone, SMS, professional networks, and physician communities. Every channel runs inside our reviewed outreach guidelines, which cover TCPA and state calling and texting rules, CAN-SPAM handling, and the terms of service of any clinician network we prospect in. You raise new channels for review before you use them.
  • Build non-outbound sources of pipeline: referrals from live clinicians, medical societies, DPC and concierge networks, specialty associations, clinician podcasts and newsletters, and conference presence.
  • Maintain enough top-of-funnel that a slow month in one channel does not empty the quarter.

Discovery and qualification

  • Diagnose the specific shape of a clinician's messaging burden: volume, after-hours load, staff cost, and what they currently do with unpaid patient questions.
  • Qualify on practice economics: panel size, practice model, existing cash-pay behavior, whether they control their own pricing, and whether they can adopt a tool without a committee.
  • Disqualify quickly and cleanly. A clinician in a large health system with no authority over patient communication tooling is a poor use of a week.

Product communication

  • Run clear, accurate product demos tailored to each clinician's practice and priorities.
  • Build trust by communicating the product's capabilities precisely and bringing in the right team members for specialized questions.
  • Turn what you learn in the field into stronger sales materials and a repeatable commercial playbook.

Close and activation

  • Guide clinicians to the right tier between Starter and Practice, which are published and fixed, and negotiate custom terms on Group deals for multi-clinician practices.
  • Hand license verification to our credentialing process and keep the clinician moving through it. You do not verify credentials yourself, and your compensation never depends on the outcome of that check.
  • Coordinate the deployment-specific security review that has to clear before real patient data is accepted, including any agreement the practice requires. This gate is real. You plan around it and set expectations early rather than pushing a clinician past it.
  • Drive the first patient conversation once the clinician is cleared to go live. Watch time from close to first consult and intervene when a clinician stalls.
  • Expand within the account. A solo clinician who succeeds is the natural path into their group, and their colleagues are the warmest pipeline available.

Feedback into the business

  • Report what clinicians actually say back to product, weekly, with specifics.
  • Flag which specialties, practice models, and geographies convert and which do not, so targeting sharpens over time.
  • Help build the playbook, the objection library, and the case studies as you go. This role writes the first field version of all three.

Who you are

Required

  • Three or more years in a full-cycle sales role, meaning you sourced, ran, and closed your own deals rather than inheriting qualified pipeline.
  • Demonstrated success in high-volume outbound, with a real answer to the question of how you personally built pipeline in a quiet quarter.
  • Comfort selling to independent professionals who are skeptical, time-poor, and hard to reach. Clinicians are all three.
  • Written communication strong enough that a physician reads your email past the first line.
  • Fluency with, or genuine appetite for, AI tooling in your own workflow. You will work alongside an agentic system daily and be asked to improve it.
  • Precision about claims. You understand the difference between what a product does and what it might do, and you keep that line clean in front of a licensed clinician.
  • Self-direction. This is an early role with a short playbook and no one queuing work for you.

Helpful

  • Experience selling into healthcare: clinicians, practices, telehealth, DPC, concierge, or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with cash-pay and direct-to-clinician business models, where the buyer is also the economic beneficiary.
  • Understanding of US practice structures: independent practice, group practice, DPC, concierge, and where purchasing authority sits in each.
  • Working knowledge of what a security review or BAA conversation involves, enough to keep a deal moving through one.
  • Experience as a first or early sales hire at a startup.
  • Existing relationships in clinician communities.

Why this role is different

We have built an internal agentic sales system that carries the mechanical weight of outbound. It builds funnels, ranks target clinicians by fit, and prepares outreach for you to review. In practice:

  • Segment definition is a conversation, not a spreadsheet exercise. You describe the clinician profile you want to work, and the system assembles and scores the list.
  • Ranking comes with reasoning. Targets arrive ordered by fit signals such as specialty, practice model, panel size, cash-pay orientation, and evidence of messaging burden. You decide which signals deserve weight.
  • Outreach arrives drafted. You edit, sharpen, and approve. Your voice and your read of the person are the value you add.
  • Prep time collapses, so conversation volume goes up. We expect this role to hold more live conversations per week than a traditional full-cycle seat, because the hours normally lost to list building and sequence writing are already spent.

The system improves only if you close the loop on it. Labeling outcomes, correcting bad rankings, and reporting which objections actually landed are part of the job, not administrative overhead.

What we offer

  • $80,000 base salary, plus uncapped variable, for on-target earnings of $120,000 to $165,000. Variable is earned on subscriptions and activation milestones, and the target is set against the plan and ramp we agree on. Standard clawback applies where a clinician cancels inside the commission window, and the full plan is shared before offer.
  • Early-stage equity, sized to the fact that this is one of the first commercial hires.
  • Fully remote within the United States. We support the time zone your clinicians are in. Travel up to 20 percent for conferences, medical society events, and clinician meetings.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Budget for conferences, medical society memberships, and the travel that comes with pipeline generation.
  • Hardware and tooling of your choosing.

We are an early-stage company, and the equity and comp structure reflect that in both directions: real ownership, real risk.
