Cook - Float Position - Trinity Center
We are looking for a cook with experience in long term care or other healthcare setting who is able to be flexible to work either an 8 hour shift (10am-6:30pm) or 13 hour shifts (6am-7pm) and EOW at the Trinity Center at Luther Park Community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare food items for the current meal.
Place hot food items on cart to go upstairs to steam table.
Place items on steam table and take and record temps
Serve lunch to Small Dining Room, Room Trays then Large Dining Room
After lunch, remove pans from Steam Table, wash steam table and bring pans down to be washed
Start prep for next meal
Check menu for next day to see what needs to be pulled from freezer
Take food temps and record
Do daily cleaning by following posted cleaning schedule
Sweep and mop work area before going home, lock all doors and place keys in locker

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have ServSafe certificate or be able to acquire within 6 months of employment
Experience working in a long-term care or other healthcare facility setting preferred
Must be able to fluently read, write, speak and understand the English language
Background check, physical, drug screen and TB test required
