We are seeking an exceptional Front of House Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a unique private residence in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. This is a highly visible role suited for a polished, refined professional who brings a natural sense of finesse, discretion, elegance, and a deeply rooted hospitality DNA.
This is a new residence and newly created role, offering the unique opportunity to establish systems, set the tone, and build best-in-class standards from the ground up. The successful candidate will have a 360-degree responsibility for delivering five-star service within the San Francisco home, ensuring an exceptional and seamless experience at all times.
The ideal candidate will serve as the central liaison between the principal, family office, and the household team, ensuring a smooth and elegant flow to all aspects of the residence. With an intuitive, service-driven approach, this individual will lead the home with the sensibility of an elevated concierge, anticipating needs, refining systems, and upholding the highest standards of presentation and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all front-of-house operations with an unwavering focus on service excellence, presentation, and guest experience
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine household systems, protocols, and service standards
- Establish best-in-class standards to be adopted across all residences
- Lead and mentor household staff with a calm, professional, and service-driven approach
- Coordinate and manage vendors and service providers, leveraging strong, trusted relationships within the Bay Area
- Uphold exceptional attention to detail with a refined eye for aesthetics, presentation, and overall ambiance
- Oversee the care, handling, and preservation of fine art and high-value assets
- Ensure all household systems operate seamlessly, efficiently, and proactively
- Partner closely with the Facilities Manager, Director of Hospitality, and Culinary team to deliver a cohesive, elevated residential experience
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in a senior House Manager or Estate Manager role within a high-level private residence or luxury hospitality environment
- Deep knowledge of housekeeping, clothing care, table service, food & beverage, entertaining, and guest services
- A natural hospitality mindset with an elegant, concierge-level approach to service
- Highly polished, discreet, and professional in demeanor
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to implement and uphold systems and standards
- Hands-on, thoughtful approach with the ability to lead by example
- Exceptional attention to detail and an innate sense of refinement
- Strong knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area, including vendors, resources, and services

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with flexibility required on weekends as needed.
Compensation:
Salary range $175,000 $250,000, commensurate with experience.
