Job Description: · Schedule appointments, coordinating ancillary testing when necessary and ensuring pre certs and prior authorizations are received. · Make appointments, cancel, reschedule and handle no-show appointments · Greeting patients, verifying all demographic information, verify insurance · Collect copayments, deductibles and coinsurance and provide receipts · Data entry & record keeping · Communicate with patients, physicians and staff · Maintain inventory of medical products and office supplies · Maintain a neat, clean waiting room · Oversees record keeping for and destruction · Assists satellite offices, some travel may be required · Comply with HIPPA confidentiality standards Requirements: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Excellent customer service skills · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail · Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment |
