FRANCHISE EMPIRE
Franchise Development Manager
Compensation Target: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (100k-120k OTE)
Are you the kind of sales leader who can turn a transactional Pro team into a genuinely consultative growth engine?
Are you the person who sees inefficiencies in a sales process and immediately knows how to fix them?
Do you love coaching others to win just as much as you love closing yourself?
Are you equal parts strategist, operator, and leader?
If so, you might be the Franchise Development (Producing) Manager we've been searching for.
Who is Franchise Empire?
We are disrupting the franchise industry and redefining how people buy franchises.
We are to franchising what Uber was to taxis and Airbnb was to hotels.
Our proprietary Zero to Profitable Franchise System is the only system that helps individuals find, vet, and get their franchise profitable.
We don't follow the status quo — we challenge it.
If you want to build something meaningful, push boundaries, and help people change their lives, you'll fit right in.
Our CEO and Founder runs one of the largest franchise-focused YouTube channels and is a recognized thought leader in the space.

About the Role
At Franchise Empire, we're on a mission to disrupt the franchise industry. We help everyday people find, vet, buy, and launch money-making franchises faster and smarter than ever before.
We are hiring a Franchise Development Manager to own the daily execution of our Franchise Pro team.
This is not a pure people-manager role.
This is a 50/50 producing player-coach seat with real ownership.
You will:
- Own daily Pro team execution and call quality
- Carry a personal call and triage load that sets the standard
- Coach Pros on style, tonality, and follow-up
- Hire, onboard, and lead an international appointment-setter team
If you thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments where the scoreboard matters, this is your opportunity to build something epic.
Who This Role is For
- You like working for small scrappy companies. The big corporate type of environment is NOT for you.
- You've led sales for a high-growth company, direct-response business, franchise organization, or founder-led brand.
- You understand the difference between leads and revenue, and you manage sales like a business unit with a scoreboard.
- You've owned phone-based production before, and you know how to scale a team without destroying conversion rates.
- You've built (or oversaw the build of) call playbooks, voicemail systems, and follow-up cadences that convert, and you know how to diagnose breakdowns (tracking, offer, messaging, friction, speed-to-lead).
- You're comfortable in HubSpot (or similar CRM) and can collaborate with Ops/Tech to keep attribution and workflows clean.
- You can lead reps without micromanaging: clear briefs, fast feedback, high standards, consistent production.
- You're obsessed with clarity: dashboards, reporting, learnings, and actions. No guessing.
- You move fast, take ownership, and don't need someone to push you.
- Bonus points if you love using AI to increase output, speed up iteration, and reduce busywork.
What You'll Own (Strategy + Execution)
You will run the Franchise Pro team as a business unit, not a call center.
As Franchise Development Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Carrying personal call and triage volume that sets the floor for the Pro team — leading by example with live triages, appointment setting, and discovery calls.
- Leading call quality and tonality across the team — listening to recorded calls daily, delivering written and verbal coaching to each Pro every week.
- Owning the Pro playbook end-to-end: scripts, voicemail drop variations (15–20 across opt-in source and call stage), objection handling, and follow-up cadences.
- Partnering with department leaders to relaunch the international appointment setter program (target: 3–4 hires across Latin America in the first 60 days).
- Owning the day-to-day management of the setter team once hired — quality, schedule, and KPIs — and training setters on the conversation framework.
- Partnering with Marketing, Ops, and Brokerage leadership to keep the sales motion aligned with what actually converts, not what 'looks good.'
- Driving AI-supported efficiency inside sales (call summaries, appointment confirmations, no-show follow-ups, resale pre-qualification), helping the company move faster with less overhead.
- Envisioning, building, and developing the Pro team and setter team as we scale.
In Your First 90 Days, You'll…
By Day 90, you are not just supervising Pros — you are operating as the producing leader of the sales floor.
Within the first 30 days, you will:
- Get familiar with our 3–5 year vision, and use that to reverse-engineer the way you build, lead, and coach.
- Audit our full sales ecosystem (positioning, scripts, voicemail drops, call recordings, HubSpot hygiene, lead scoring, sales handoff).
- Establish a single source of truth dashboard tied to revenue (triages held, set-to-held, application conversion, close rate, resale cycle time, cost per held).
- Personally produce — at least 60% of a Pro's normal weekly triage volume by the end of the month.
Within the first 60 days, you will:
- Improve held-appointment performance through messaging, automation, and process changes — Pro team appointments-held holding above the new May/June baseline.
- Define the sales operating rhythm (weekly Pro meeting, weekly call review, 1:1 cadence, KPI scoreboard, cross-department accountability).
- Have the first international setter job posting live and your first cohort interviewed.
Within the first 90 days, you will:
- Stabilize and improve the Pro engine (call quality, scripts v2, voicemail v2, scaling rules, lead-quality feedback loop).
- Onboard at least two international setters, ramping and producing — first booked appointment by Day 14, productive by Day 30.
