Founding Account Executive

About the Role

This is a founding sales role at an early-stage AI healthtech startup, meaning you will help shape the go-to-market motion from the ground up. You will own the full sales cycle, bringing an AI-powered clinical trial patient recruitment platform to research sites and life sciences organizations. Your work directly accelerates the pace at which patients find and enroll in clinical trials.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage a pipeline from prospecting through close, targeting clinical research sites and enterprise decision-makers.
• Conduct discovery calls and thorough needs analyses to understand each prospect's recruitment challenges.
• Lead contract negotiations and close mid-market and enterprise deals with C-level and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and activity records in CRM and sales tooling.
• Partner closely with the founding team to iterate on messaging, positioning, and sales process as the company scales.

What We're Looking For

• 3 or more years of experience as an Account Executive, Sales Development Representative, or in a similar direct sales closing role.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas on mid-market or enterprise deals.
• Experience managing a full sales pipeline from initial outreach through signed contract.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Strong skills in discovery, needs analysis, and consultative selling.
• Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales is a plus.
• Experience selling to C-suite executives or senior organizational decision-makers is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
