Location: Houston, TX 77571

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team at a busy facility. The ideal candidate will have experience handling oversized freight, including 8-foot pallets, and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, and transport 8-foot pallets and various freight within the facility

• Secure cargo to prevent damage during movement and storage

• Assist in staging, stacking, and organizing freight for outbound and inbound distribution

• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns

• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times

• Communicate and coordinate with warehouse personnel and truck drivers to maintain efficient workflow

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, or logistics environments

• Ability to manage and maneuver oversized loads, including 8-foot pallets

• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and varying weather conditions

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks

• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in intermodal yards, ports, or freight handling facilities

• Knowledge of container loading/unloading protocols and procedures
