Pay: $16.50

Openwork is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for an electrical manufacturing company in the Channelview/Houston Port area. Apply if you meet the qualifications of this role.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the receipt, stocking and record keeping of new and existing materials.
• Communicate with staff and management team to identify material needs.
• Fill workstations with appropriate hardware and material, as identified.
• Maintain records of materials using a scanner or designated computer program.
• May utilize a forklift to transport, load and unload materials.        
• Must learn and adhere to all safety policies and practices to avoid safety incidents.
• Must learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure consistent production.
• Ensure quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of Forklift experience
• Ability to follow safety polices and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• High School Diploma or GED required

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM
Friday 6AM - 2PM
