2-month 2nd Shift Assignment
TempExperts is seeking a careful
Forklift & Machine Operator to move heavy tonnage material for a well-established manufacturing company in
Jacksonville, FL.
This employee will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.
This is a 4pm to 2:30am Monday through Thursday assignment.
The ideal candidate is a responsible individual with sit-down forklift experience moving heavy tonnage as well as assisting designated machine operators or production teams in a variety of functions including, but not limited to maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material-handling, and others.
Responsibilities:- Unload and loading products from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
- Operating machinery or equipment as trained and instructed, following safety guidelines at all times.
- Handling assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned.
- Keeping work area clean: including machines, conveyors, machinery, floors, etc.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.
In this role, you may be required to operate the following equipment:- Hoppers
- Bagging and sealing machines.
- Forklift
- Palletizers
- Hydraulic equipment
- Powered tractors or vehicles
- Variety of hand tools
Requirements:- Proven experience as forklift operator.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to follow company production or safety procedures and pass internal certification training.
- Provide your own steel-toed boots.
