FOOD TRUCK Manager

The AGM is working as an apprentice under the General Manager, learning the business, helping to develop and tighten operational processes and systems, while developing to learn to run their own location. The assistant general manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.

This specific position focuses on the food truck operational arm of the restaurant. It would be an opportunity for someone looking to branch into an independent arm, but very much representing and following in line with the establishment of the concept flagship store.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager in directing daily business operations. The assistant general manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives. The AGM is working as an apprentice under the General Manager, learning the business, helping to develop and tighten operational processes and systems, while developing to learn to run their own location. The AGM is actively working to become a GM as we are looking to operate new locations. We need to develop more dedicated team members and are looking for like-minded individuals who enjoy achieving high standards in a team-oriented kitchen.

To be a successful Assistant General Manager, you should eagerly participate in educational and training opportunities. A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skills. The AGM should be firm, but also approachable.

Responsibilities:

• Cooperating with the general manager, and assisting with anything from project planning to staff management.
• Nurturing positive working relationships with staff.
• Delegating daily tasks.
• Addressing any issues in a timely fashion.
• Supervising staff and controlling product.
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
• Setting a good example for staff.

• An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
• Computer literate and basic Math skills.
• An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.

Starting at $18.00 per hour
