Job Description:
The Milford Public Schools is looking for an Assistant Director of Food Services.
This is a Non-Union, 11 month position.
Salary range $75,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience.
This position includes a benefits package and eligibility for a City pension.

SUPERVISES
Department staff, including Cook-Managers, General Workers, Shipping Clerks, and Central Kitchen Staff.
SCHEDULE
11 Months (following the academic calendar, working August through June with July off). 8-hour workday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Daily schedule TBD.
SALARY
$75,000 - $85,000 (Commensurate with experience)
ACADEMIC/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year of general office experience (proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel preferred).
Experience in nutrition/food service preferred.
Bachelor's Degree, Registered Dietitian (RD) credential, and K-12 experience preferred.
JOB SUMMARY
This position involves a blend of on-site school operations, administrative support, clerical tasks, and strong interpersonal communication with students, staff, and parents/guardians. Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, the Assistant Director executes all assigned duties to ensure the successful operation of the districts school breakfast and lunch programs.
