• Typical duties
  • Safely operate a Class A tractor‑trailer in compliance with DOT and company regulations
  • Perform flatbed load securement and freight protection, including tarping and the use of straps, chains, and binders (approximately 40–50% of loads require tarping)
  • Haul regional and OTR flatbed freight with typical runs up to 2,000–2,500 miles covering multiple states
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs; conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and promptly report maintenance needs
  • Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on‑time performance
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year OTR driving experience and at least 6 months flatbed experience
  • Experience hauling steel and steel pipe is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with straps, tarps, chains, and binders for load securement and tarping
