Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Firestop Estimator/Manager for the Washington DC Region
Assist in all sales of the Firestop Division, build customer relations.
Estimate all Firestop projects
Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of projects including labor
Assist in the management of the operational capabilities of the division.
Assist in training of the staff.

Drive performance so that each project is completed under budget and on schedule
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience, 5 years total construction experience preferred
Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings
Must have skilled knowledge of estimating techniques, software and databases
Sharp understanding of bidding process
Ability to visualize various building techniques
Superb communication skills
Strong work ethic and moral ethics with the ability to exercise sound judgment
Ability to foresee problems and take corrective actions
OSHA Certification
Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit

Continued development of technical skills

Qualifications
Past Firestop Experience
Knowledge of all firestop materials and codes.
Project management experience
