Financial Analyst – SAP / Excel

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, data analysis, reconciliation, payment validation, and variance analysis for a large organization in Plano, TX.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and SAP/ERP experience, along with a background in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or business analysis. Candidates with retail operations, POS, promotional claims, commissions, or payment reconciliation experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze actual operating results and interpret financial data for management.
• Prepare and provide financial data in response to budget-related requests.
• Perform reconciliation of promotional claims, POS activity, and financial transactions.
• Research payment reconciliation issues identified through audits, exception reports, and remittance changes.
• Generate financial reports to validate payments and identify discrepancies and variances.
• Reconcile carrier commissions against in-store reporting to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Perform financial data analysis and reporting using multiple business systems.
• Identify trends, discrepancies, exceptions, and variances and assist with resolution.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, charts, and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Communicate financial findings and provide actionable information to management.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve financial and reporting issues.
