Title:               Financial Analyst
Location:       
 San Jose, CA 95116
Duration:         0-11+ months
Shift:               1st Shift ( 8: 30AM to 4: 30 PM)
Pay Rate:        $60.00 - $67.00/Hour (Depending on candidate's years of experience)

 
Job Description:
  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis of plant results and variances.
  • Prepare and analyze plant financial reports, scorecards, and key performance metrics.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets, including Factory Spending, Absorption/Volume, Material, Labor, Methods, capital, depreciation, and utilities.
  • Identify, analyze, and communicate financial risks and opportunities.
  • Perform daily PE validation and reporting and analyze key operational and financial variance drivers.
  • Manage product and material costing, standard changes, and costing for new products and SKUs.
  • Track, forecast, and analyze Cost Savings performance against targets and validate the financial impact of savings initiatives.
  • Manage inventory financial activities, including cycle counts and inventory analysis.
  • Manage fixed asset activities, including CIP, KAR, DCF, and fixed asset inventory.
  • Partner with Operations and other plant functions to provide financial insights and drive business decisions.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and financial evaluation of plant projects and business initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate financial data and reporting in accordance with company requirements.
  • Perform financial controls and 404 testing and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
  • Serve as back up to payroll processor, able to execute hourly and salaried payroll process.
  • All other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing finance experience preferred.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and financial reporting.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • SAP or other ERP system experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
