Financial Analyst 1

Run, maintain, reconcile, review, combine, analyze and validate financial data sets, utilizing financial reports, financial databases, and key financial information often from multiple systems. What we are looking for : You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

Who will you support:
There are many departments at LBRE, your primary focus will be on, but not limited to, Stanford Redwood City and the Finance & Administration department.

What work will you do**:

• Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions; clear outstanding items
• Prepare and submit journals.
• Identify and resolve incorrect journal entries, data anomalies, deviations from established procedures, and unusual issues
• Run, maintain, reconcile, review, combine, analyze and validate financial data sets, utilizing financial reports, financial databases, and key financial information often from multiple systems. Assist in the preparation of basic management information reports.
• Provide support to budgeting and forecasting

What we are looking for:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in business applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, including advanced formula use.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and aptitude to learn new systems
• Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently and as a team player
• Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and ability to effectively multitask.
• Strong project management skills and ability to contribute to or lead part of a multifunctional team.
• Preferred but not required:
• Proficiency with Oracle systems in general
• Proficiency with Adaptive Planning
