Financial Analyst IV

Responsibilities: Strategic planning: Be a trusted advisor to ICS Customer Success Finance Managers, help shape our 1- and 3-year strategic plans, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities to Budget and margin, and driving optimal investment decisions through data-driven insights and business modeling expertise. Month End Close/Current Estimate: Own the forecasting, consolidation and reporting of the monthly close/forecast cadence and business review preparation; Prepare exec ready commentary for variance capturing business drivers and strategic insights; Work with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment.

A client with Kforce is seeking a Financial Analyst IV to join their team in Mountain View, CA. Responsibilities:

• Strategic planning: Be a trusted advisor to ICS Customer Success Finance Managers, help shape our 1- and 3-year strategic plans, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities to Budget and margin, and driving optimal investment decisions through data-driven insights and business modeling expertise
• Forecasting and reporting: Lead quarterly forecast and current estimate cycles, owning driver-based assumptions, risk and opportunity management, and timely escalation to keep targets on track
• Month End Close/Current Estimate: Own the forecasting, consolidation and reporting of the monthly close/forecast cadence and business review preparation; Prepare exec ready commentary for variance capturing business drivers and strategic insights; Work with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment
• Margin lever and unit economics analysis: Quantify and track the drivers of spread, and translate them into risks and opportunities for the Payments P&L; Build and maintain unit economics and margin analysis to help SLT with understanding of business and R&O
• Operational excellence and process improvement: Partner with ICS Finance Team to ensure updated P&L, R&O and metrics by streamlining, standardizing and automating reporting and forecasting processes; Have AI first mindset and think of ways to automate and streamline process as much as possible
• Accounting Compliance/Financial Rigor: Prepare accounting entries including reclass entries; Expense tracking including PO tracking, making sure accruals are being captured accurately for the month and quarter

Requirements:

• Undergrad in Finance, Accounting or Business Management or equivalent work experience; Masters in Finance a plus
• 6+ years FP&A experience or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or analytics
• 4+ years of experience with financial forecasting or analytic modeling
• Enjoy operating in an extremely fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Proven track record of translating business results into an insightful and consumable story for leadership teams, ideally in high-growth software environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with all levels of the organization, influence stakeholders using data and collaborate in an inclusive culture
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and financial modeling skills
• Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; Willing and able to initiate, manage, and execute projects with minimal supervision
• Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Experience with Hyperion Essbase preferred
• Experience with a Fintech business a plus
