Finance Manager – M&A and Integrations
Pay Rate:$80.00 Per Hour

Position Summary
The Finance Manager – M&A and Integrations plays a critical role in supporting the company's growth strategy through financial leadership across mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations. This position partners closely with Corporate Development, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, HR, IT, and business leaders to support transaction execution, financial diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and value realization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, experience managing acquisitions from diligence through integration, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Lead financial due diligence efforts for acquisitions, including analysis of:
- Historical financial statements
- Quality of earnings
- Working capital
- Debt-like items
- Cash flow sustainability
- Support valuation modeling, deal structuring, purchase price allocation inputs, and scenario analysis.
- Partner with Corporate Development and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Prepare executive-level materials including:
- Investment memorandums
- Financial models
- Board presentations
- Assess financial risks, synergies, and value creation opportunities associated with potential transactions.
- Support negotiation of financial terms within purchase agreements, including earn-outs and working capital adjustments.
Integration & Value Realization
- Lead financial integration planning and execution for acquired entities.
- Develop and track integration financial milestones, synergy targets, and cost-to-achieve metrics.
- Partner with Accounting to integrate acquired entities into:
- Financial reporting
- Close processes
- Internal controls
- ERP systems
- Collaborate with FP&A to incorporate acquisitions into budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Monitor post-close financial performance against deal model assumptions and communicate variances to leadership.
- Support organizational change management efforts alongside HR, IT, Operations, and business leaders.
- Serve as a trusted finance advisor during periods of transformation and growth.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Enhance M&A and integration playbooks, templates, and processes.
- Identify opportunities to standardize financial processes across acquired businesses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies throughout transaction and integration activities.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Finance
- Accounting
- Economics
- Related field
OR
- High School Diploma/GED with equivalent applicable experience
Basic Qualifications
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in:
- M&A
- Corporate Finance
- FP&A
- Transaction Services
- Consulting
- Hands-on experience supporting mergers and acquisitions from diligence through integration.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification.
- Experience within:

- High-growth companies
- Private equity-backed environments
- Experience leading or significantly influencing post-merger integrations.
