Position Overview

Location: Atlanta, GA | Hybrid

The Field Finance Manager is the go-to financial advisor for Regional Vice Presidents and Area Managers across our East Division. You'll partner closely with operational leaders, uncover opportunities in the business, challenge thinking when needed, and help drive smarter decisions that improve performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, translating data into stories, and working side-by-side with field leaders to solve real business problems. We're looking for a strategic thinker who can confidently influence decisions while maintaining the approachable, collaborative style that earns trust with field leaders.

What you'll do:

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Regional Vice Presidents and Area Managers, helping them make informed decisions around sales growth, profitability, labor, inventory, and overall branch performance.
• Build strong relationships across the organization, earning credibility as a collaborative and approachable advisor who can influence outcomes through both financial expertise and business acumen.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles, partnering with operational leaders to develop plans that support business goals and drive accountability.
• Analyze branch, area, and division performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and the key drivers behind results, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that support both short-term performance improvements and long-term business objectives.
• Develop meaningful KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting that help leaders monitor performance and make informed decisions.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations that clearly communicate financial results, business trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Navigate ambiguity and complex business challenges with curiosity, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Location & Work Arrangement

• This is a hybrid role supporting branch locations throughout our East Division. Candidates should be based in the Atlanta area and able to attend in-person team meetings at our Roswell office at least twice per month, with additional opportunities for face-to-face collaboration throughout the year.

Skills We Are Seeking

• 7+ years of experience supporting field operations finance in a multi-site environment such as retail, branch-based, distribution, restaurant, or service organizations.
• Proven experience partnering directly with district, regional, or operational leaders to influence business decisions and drive performance improvements.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge, recommend, and influence while maintaining strong relationships.
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences.Experience evaluating operational performance and providing insights that support decisions around growth, profitability, and resource allocation.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, Planful, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Estimated Starting Pay: $120K-$135K base salary, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, location, and internal equity.

This position is also eligible for short and long term incentive bonuses/variable compensation.

Starting pay will depend on factors such as location and experience, and will always meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.
