Position Overview
The Field Technician 3 installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and related software at customer or field locations. The role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and providing technical support for industrial control automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair control automation systems.
- Provide technical support for control automation systems.
- Support development and implementation of new control automation systems.
- Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment and integrated systems.
- Analyze equipment performance and diagnose malfunctions.
- Perform repairs and corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support engineering field changes, upgrades, and equipment modifications.
- Maintain effective customer communication and relationships.
- Provide onsite training to customer support personnel when required.
- Read, interpret, and produce electrical and controls schematics.
- Review and update AutoCAD drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and produce electrical/controls schematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
