What You"ll Do
As a Field Technician II, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical power systems by:
Performing testing, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical power distribution equipment.
Traveling to customer facilities throughout the Nashville region and surrounding areas to support field service projects.
Working with low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems and equipment.
Supporting testing and maintenance activities on:
Circuit breakers
Transformers
Switchgear
Motors
Current Transformers (CTs)
Potential Transformers (PTs)
Capacitive Coupled Voltage Transformers (CCVTs)
Grounding systems and related equipment
Utilizing advanced testing equipment including:
Megger testers
Ductor testers
Hi-Pot equipment
Power factor testing instruments
CT ratio and saturation testing equipment
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documentation.
Accurately documenting test results, repairs, maintenance activities, and field observations.
Participating in safety meetings and maintaining strict adherence to industry and company safety standards.
Building professional relationships with customers and representing the company with exceptional service.
Expanding your technical skills through ongoing training and progression toward advanced NETA certifications.

This is a highly active, field-based position where approximately 95% of your time will be spent supporting customer sites throughout the Atlanta area and surrounding regions. You"ll work alongside experienced power systems professionals, operate advanced electrical testing equipment, and contribute to projects that directly impact the reliability and safety of critical electrical infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
