Trident Consulting is seeking a "Field Support Engineer " for one of our client in Groton, CT. A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title: Field Support Engineer
Location: Onsite - Groton, CT
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $35

Required Skills / Experience:
3 5 years of relevant IT support, desktop engineering, systems support, or infrastructure experience, including:
Strong Windows 10 and Windows 11 troubleshooting experience
Windows workstation installation, configuration, and administration
Software installation and troubleshooting
Hardware and peripheral troubleshooting
Windows device drivers and Device Manager
Active Directory and domain-joined workstation concepts
Network troubleshooting fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network shares
User/group permissions and local security concepts
Application and operating-system compatibility troubleshooting
Backup, restoration, and data migration fundamentals
Ability to interpret technical documentation and execute defined technical procedures
Strong documentation and technical communication skills
Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and escalate appropriately
Ability to work with application owners, infrastructure teams, vendors, and end users
Ability to work onsite and support scheduled deployment activities as required
