Field Supervisor - Stormwater

Oversee the maintenance, repair, inspection, and operation of the City's drainage channels, ditches, rights-of-way, inlets, culverts, pipes, detention areas, and related stormwater assets. Five (5) years or more experience in maintenance and repair of drainage facilities, stormwater infrastructure, rights-of-way, streets, construction, utilities, or closely related municipal maintenance.

PRIMARY DUTY:Provide daily supervision for drainage maintenance employees including planning, scheduling, organizing, supervising, and reviewing their work. Oversee the maintenance, repair, inspection, and operation of the City's drainage channels, ditches, rights-of-way, inlets, culverts, pipes, detention areas, and related stormwater assets. Assists with safety, equipment, operational, and technical training of divisional personnel. This position also assists with maintaining needed records, materials, supplies, equipment, and drainage maintenance priorities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent.Five (5) years or more experience in maintenance and repair of drainage facilities, stormwater infrastructure, rights-of-way, streets, construction, utilities, or closely related municipal maintenance.One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.Any combination of education, training, experience and professional skills that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License with good driving record.Must possess and maintain a Tanker Endorsement.Work Zone Safety Certification through IMSA or TEEX.Must complete City-required Excavation and Trenching Safety training.
