    HiFyve is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic in the heavy equipment industry in Tulsa, OK!


    Salary:

    $35–$45/hr

    Shift:

    1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm

    Location:

    On-site – Tulsa, OK


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operate a mobile service vehicle to perform in-field diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy construction equipment

    • Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues using schematics and established repair guidelines

    • Perform field service work on Komatsu and similar heavy equipment brands

    • Plan and execute repair methods and sequences efficiently with minimal supervision

    • Order required parts and complete accurate technical reports and service documentation

    • Maintain service truck, tools, and company assets in clean and safe working condition

    • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times

    • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members to promote positive relationships

    • Complete daily, monthly, and annual vehicle and safety inspections

    • Travel to customer job sites and stay overnight when required


    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • 7–10 years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy or construction equipment

    • Direct experience working on Komatsu equipment required

    • Ability to read and interpret complex hydraulic and electrical schematics

    • Proficiency with hand tools and specialty tools required for heavy equipment repair

    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and time management skills

    • Ability to work independently in field environments with limited supervision

    • Valid driver’s license; CDL as required for assigned equipment

    • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks

    • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and job site environments

    • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and overnight assignments as needed
